The “Errand” Rack is an adjustable rack designed to fit on almost any bike. Perfect for carrying backpacks, totes, and the BaileyWorks bag made just for it.
Made from 4130 aircraft tubing, an oak deck, and stainless steel struts, the “Errand” Rack is also designed to provide years of solid and reliable service. Struts can be drilled for 5mm quick-release skewers or 9mm solid axles. The rack itself attaches at the fork crown behind the front brake or using the fender-bolt holes. Oak platform is treated with spar urethane for protection against all the elements including UV. Frame is powder coated, and racks are currently available in black or matte white. $325 includes Paul Comp Gino light mount. The BaileyWorks bag is $90-100 and available directly through them.
Capricorn Rack Features
8"x12" "Basket" with Oak Deck
The perfect size for a six-pack, standard-sized grocery bag or tote, or your backpack propped against the handlebars.
Struts Provide Extra Security Against Wheel-Theft
Since the struts fit under rack bolts or skewers a would-be thief would have to completely unscrew and remove these to free up your front wheel. This adds an extra step to the process, which might be enough to lead them to find an easier pick.
Also Available in Matte White
There's too many colors to offer so for now I stick to the basics.
