Con Brio: Lugged Road. hand-crafted technique, not tech.

When it comes to frame materials, everything’s been tried, and the riders that have tried everything always seem to return to the classic, comfortable ride of a quality steel frame.

Modeled after the race bikes that were standard equipment for nearly a century, the Con Brio combines modern high-performance steel tubing with time-honored building techniques to create a frame that is beautiful, distinctive, and nimble.  Priced from $2550 for frame, fork, and Spectrum Powder Works finish.

Capricorn frame features

Investment-Cast Lugs and Fork Crown, Silver-Brazed

Working with lugs adds time to frame-building, and brazing with silver gets expensive. But a brazed and finished lug can be beautiful to behold: a symbol for the craft itself.

Handmade Fork

The fork deserves the same level of craft as the rest of the frame. The Con Brio fork has its offset bend focused low on the fork blades for the smoothest ride possible.

Vintage Look

Not so much "retro" as it is "same as it ever was." This is what a high-end, handmade steel road bike has been all along.
